Waterscape Resort Condominium is located on Okaloosa Island between Ft Walton Beach and Destin Florida. Known for its silky, brilliant white sand and emerald green waters Okaloosa Island has a picturesque pier and boardwalk that features nightly entertainment, great seafood restaurants, shopping, and some of the most incredible sunsets ever seen. Recreational activities include pontoon and wave runner rentals, parasailing, snorkeling, sunset cruises and sightseeing cruises.

One our favorite publications for finding out what is going on in the area is a biweekly Free Newspaper called The Beachcomber. You can search the Beachcomber's web site before you leave home or it can be picked up at around 65 different locations in Fort Walton Beach and Destin.
Shopping
Fort Walton and nearby Destin are known for great shopping. These are a few of our favorite places to shop in the area.
- Destin Commons- A unique, open air town center, featuring upscale shopping, casual and fine dining, Bass Pro Shop, movie theater and more.
- Destin’s HarborWalk- Located right at the foot of Destin Bridge, this is a quaint harbor front collection of shopping, art gallery, restaurants, and entertainment, water recreation rentals, fishing and dolphin charters, and full service marina and yacht facilities.
- Ft. Walton Beach Main Street- There are several unique specialty shoppes and restaurants to visit along the "Miracle Strip". Downtown Fort Walton Beach is home to the Library, Indian Temple Mound and Science Museum. Relax and take a stroll at The Landing, a waterfront park which is home to many festivals through out the year. We've found great deals on beautiful vintage clothing in Downtown Fort Walton Beach.
- Silver Sands Factory Stores- The nation's largest designer outlet center, featuring more than 100 brand name stores with merchandise at up to 75% off retail. Some of our favorite stores are Off 5th, Saks Outlet, J.Crew Factory Store and the Nike and Underarmour stores.
Dining
Local eateries range from rustic oyster bars to open air cafes to candlelit restaurants. What they all have in common is freshest and largest variety of seafood on the Gulf of Mexico. At least 20 tasty types of fish are caught in local waters during any one season, providing a wide variety of savory menu offerings. Red Snapper, amberjack, yellow-fin tuna and triggerfish are some local favorites that come straight from the harbor docks. Blackened, fried, broiled or sautéed – choose your favorite taste and enjoy a mouthwatering treat.
